Cultural Olympiad - Task 5, Creative Solutions


Creative Solutions
The London 2012 Cultural Olympiad lack in advertising, I believe this to be their biggest weakness. With this in mind, I have decided to design a billboard/poster campaign to help them advertise. These images will be placed on bus stops, billboards, walls, shop windows etc. With everyone slowly becoming aware of their services, this will hopefully get more people involved, as they will be more educated about the Cultural Olympiad and what they provide. Along with this, I believe that advertisement is the best route to take with this particular project as not everyone has the technology or accommodation for marketing strategies such as through-the-door leaflets, emails, TV adverts etc. This way, the public can see the advertisements when they are out and about. The print marketing will then hopefully, start a word-of-mouth effect. This again, will attract more visitors and competitors.
